 【 Introducing Japanese-inspired aesthetics | Creating a more spacious, welcoming environment 】

The essence of Japanese-inspired public-space design lies in striking just the right balance between simplicity and warmth. Whether in a clinic or a cultural venue, rows of chairs with naturally warm wood grain quietly set a calming tone for the entire space. Yet in Taiwan, many commercial and healthcare facilities choose cold, inexpensive stainless-steel or all-plastic seating to cut costs, leaving the waiting experience feeling a little less welcoming.

Good spatial design can ease the anxiety of waiting, while thoughtful seating details can turn a brief pause into a moment of rest. Building on the design language of warm, Japanese-inspired bentwood, the upgraded version features a generously expanded seat width of 53 cm, giving the body room to stretch naturally. There’s no need to sit pressed against the person beside you, and no more feeling cramped around the shoulders and neck.

As a Taiwan-based specialist in Japanese-inspired waiting-room seating, Provour helps you bring a reassuring, Japanese-style welcome to your space with wooden bench seating that combines quality and warmth. Let every wait become a moment of ease, with the comfort of being treated with care.

Width: 53 cm

Seat width increased by 10 cm

The seat width has been increased to 53 cm, 10 cm wider than the Mi Bench model, providing a more spacious seating area. It is ideal for roomy environments with plenty of space for smooth movement.

Backrest Design

To make waiting even more comfortable, the Plywood Bench features not only foam padding in the seat but also a specially designed back cushion, upholstered in water-resistant PVC leather that wipes clean with ease.

Paired with sturdy, rust-resistant powder-coated steel legs, it offers lasting stability and durability, making it ideal for public spaces subject to frequent use.

  • Large Curved Backrest Surface

The backrest and seat cushion fit perfectly with the curved woodwork, while the generous wraparound design provides excellent support and a spacious, comfortable seating experience.

  • Custom handrail configuration

Carefully selected imported European beechwood showcases the warm feel of solid wood. The armrests provide personal space and support when standing, thoughtfully meeting the seating needs of older adults.

  • Leveling Foot Pad

The feet can be rotated to adjust their height, correcting wobbling or tilting caused by slight unevenness in the floor and keeping the row of chairs level and stable.
