Many of our components, such as the round tube legs of chairs, the thick square tube legs of sofas, workshop frames, and table legs, extensively utilize iron powder coating to ensure even and saturated coverage. 📌The core process can be simply divided into three stages: I. Pretreatment II. Coating III. Curing. However, each stage still involves many complicated steps. Let's take a look:

➊ The purpose of the pretreatment stage is to establish the foundation for the coating, thoroughly clean the surface, and create a basis for adhesion. This stage accounts for 70% of the coating quality.
1▸ Surface sanding and smoothing:
Remove surface impurities such as welding slag and increase the roughness of the metal surface to enhance adhesion.
2▸ Chemical Cleaning and Coating Treatment:
• Degreasing and oil removal | Removes grease, oil, and fingerprints from the surface of parts.
• Wash and rinse with water | Remove degreasing agent residue.
• Chemical Conversion Film Treatment ✨|Key Step! Forming a dense chemical conversion film on the surface of iron parts is the foundation for paint adhesion, corrosion protection, and rust prevention.
• Wash with pure water | Rinse again with pure water or deionized water to ensure that there are no chemical residues or impurities on the surface.
3▸ Drying:
The parts must be completely dried to remove all moisture before proceeding to the next stage.

➋ Coating Stage 4▸Electrostatic Powder Coating✨: As shown in the picture, the personnel spray powder coating onto the surface of the iron part through an electrostatic spray gun, using the principle of electrostatics to make the charged powder evenly adsorbed on the part.

➌ Curing 5▸ High Temperature Curing ✨:
The workpiece with the adsorbed powder is sent into a high-temperature baking oven (between 180℃ and 220℃) to melt and level the powder and cause a chemical cross-linking reaction to form a strong, continuous and highly adhesive coating.
6▸ Cooling and Inspection:
After the workpiece is removed from the furnace and cooled, quality inspections are performed on the coating thickness, appearance smoothness, color, adhesion, and other aspects.
